OOLG UPDATE: AMB. OGUNSOLA FEELS SORRY ON THE DEATH OF RCCG PASTOR, CONDOLES OTHER VICTIMS ON THE ATTACK IN THE CHURCH

You would recall the recent attack on the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Omu penpe, and Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Abule - Ori Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, the  Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre who also doubles as Ogun State Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Special Adviser Ogun State Command has regretted the death of the Assistant pastor who was killed by the Gunmen, Pastor Olufemi Kayode and at the same time sympathized with other victims who sustained injuries.
The church was attacked by the gunmen, immediately killed RCCG Assistant Pastor, abducted seven  members on Saturday 1st July 2023 during a monthly Vigil often held within the religious centre. But with the earnest intervention of Nigeria Police Force in the area, Vigilante Group, Hunters, So safe corp and Amotekun Operatives, all the captives were rescued.

Amb. Ogunsola who visited the communities early hours on Monday 3rd July 2023 in company of the Honourable Member Representing Obafemi-Owode State Constituency, Hon. Soneye Kayode alongside the Security Operatives, including Divisional Police Officer Obafemi Owode Local Government, Officer Popoola, the Council Chairman magnanimously cleared the medical bill of the victims who 
sustained stray bullets wounds and in extention made cash donations to  some other 
patients in the Ward at Medicplus Hospital.
Amb. Ogunsola however gave a strong warning  to the evil perpetrators in the LG to flee while advising dwellers in the LG Area to report suspicious cattle breeders or otherwise who are on the search to engineer violence in the communities, urged them not to hesitate to report the evil attempt to the police and other law enforcement agencies  closer to them.
