OOLG RCCG ATTACK: AMB. OGUNSOLA CALLS FOR SECURITY BRIEF

In a bid to put a lasting solution to banditry, killing and kidnapping of people within Obafemi Owode Local Government Area.

Ambassador Ogunsola in his swift response has today calls an Emergency Security Briefing Meeting which has all the major Security Agencies Heads in attendance including, Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Security, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, Vigilant Groups of Nigeria, So-Safe Corp, Amotekun, Hunters Association and Agbekoya respectively.

The meeting aimed at strengthen security formations, particularly on the banditry, Kidnapping and Fulani Herdsmen, who recently invaded churches at Omu-pepnpe and Abule - Ori in Ofada area of the council.

The Council Boss emphasis that those behind the last event could not go Scott free without facing the law.

He therefore assured the local security outfits of government support in providing some machineries needed to enhance their performance such as patrol motorcycles and some other requests made by their heads.

Meanwhile, a call has gone to every land owners in Ofada and all the abandoned structures along papalnatoro road to quickly clear the bushes on their lands and structure, as it is observe that those miscreants are hiding to perpetrates evil in those structures and bushes while the meeting also appeal to  the State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON to use his good office to impede on various security commands to deploy more personnel for regular surveillance at the sagamu interchange, offada and papalanto roads. .
