Exactly 30 years today after the June 12, 1993 presidential election which was annulled by the Ibrahim Babangida military regime, the Executive Chairman, Obafemi-Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre promised to continuation bringing forth of dividends of democracy which were thoughts of Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola basic concept to his people in the Local Government Area.
Amb. Ogunsola stated this in a press statement released by the Director of Information, Education and Sports Department in the LG, Prince Segun Soneye personally signed and made available to caveattimesonline newspaper. That he would ensure the good reflection of his office to the dwellers of the LGA while celebrating this Year Democracy Day with his people at Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta.
In the spirit of commemoration, he appealed to Nigerians of the trying period that all are passing through that in meantime, things would become better. Equally appreciating the emergence of President Bola Hamed Tinubu who Allah has chosen to come to aid the country Nigeria from the shackle and at the same time eulogizing the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, CON in assuring amenities across the zones of the State.
He howbiet charged Nigerians to continue praying for the Nation Nigeria, most expecially the new Administration of President Bola Hamed Tinubu's tenure.
