People's Democratic Party Ward Chairmen at Obafemi-Owode Local Government had on Saturday 4th February, 2023 Decamped to All Progressives Congress
in the Local Government Area, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun gave them motorcycles
The largesse was made by the Governor; to compensate them on their strong decisions. He however charged the decampees to work hand-in-hand with their fellow party members in APC for the success of the party at all levels in the next coming general election.
Council Chairman, OOLG, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Ogunsola assured the defectors readiness to carry them along as bonafide members in the Party (APC)
The decampees are: Mr Okanlawon Olalekan Ward 1; Mokoloki, Mr. Tunde Sobowale Ward 3; Owode Egba, Mr. Shogeke Saubana Adisa, Mr. Musari Muyideen Egbeda Ward 8, Mr. Shodiya Muyideen Ward 10 Obafemi, Mr. Azeez Adebola Ward 11; Ajebo and Hon. Hammed Atanda Agbelekale; Aspirant Ogun State House of Assembly.
In his remarks, the APC Party Chairman in the LG, Chief Idowu Olude and Governor Liason officer, Hon. Fatai Mustapha urged them to remain steadfast in the Party. Said APC is the only political party built for love, humanity, justice, equality and selflessness amongst other parties in Nigeria.
