AMB. OGUNSOLA QUESTS FOR MUTUAL SUPPORTS WITH OGUN STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE

The Executive Chairman,Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, On Wednesday paid  an Official visit to the Commissioner of Police,Ogun State Commmand  in his office ,Eleweran Abeokuta as part of the oversight functions of the local Government in order to identify with Security agencies in Ogun State and how to beef up Security network in the council area 

Amb. Ogunsola,  Special Adviser to the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Ogun State Command, recently embarked on a familiarization visits to all security agencies such as Police Divisions, Department of States Security (DSS) office, Western Nigerian Security Network ( WNSN) codenamed Operation Amotekun,  Vigilante and  so safe Corps in the council area, thereby decided to round off his tour to the office of Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP. Lanre S. Bankole at Eleweran where he sought for synergy with Nigerian Police Force in order to achieve an optimum peace and tranquility among his people.

The Chairman thanked CP. Bankole on the last visit made to the Local Government based on his anticident at Owode Egba as former DPO and Area Commander many years ago, as one good turn they say deserves another. He said no doubt Obafemi Owode, particularly Mowe axis remain cool and calm despite the proximity to Lagos and commended all the DPOs in these area as they are doing a good job in terms of security management and we  enjoy good working relationship.
Amb. Ogunsola said the visit had made him to seek and abreast of the challenges in various divisions and promised that the local government will come to their aid appropriately within the available resources and where the council can not meet up, we shall reach out to the state and federal governments.

" We have nothing much to offer than to express appreciation, as we have been able to sleep with our eyes closed". Ogunsola stated.

Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP. Lanre S. Bankole while welcoming the Chairman and his entourage.,said  his assessment is that the Local Government has been lucky to have competent officers.  I know the local government and the people, such that if I'm awarded the  indigeneship of Obafemi Owode local government, I think  I'm qualified.

He therefore rated Obafemi Owode has the best  Local Government according to reports from his officers, has they shall continue to render quality service to the people in the council area.

CP. Bankole further stated that as the Nation prepares for another Elections in 2023, the Force headquarter will require more logistics support from government in order to perform efficiently well towards ensuring peace, harmony and free fair Elections in 2023.

" We will not  relent in making sure that our people continue to sleep with their eyes closed , while we need active collaborations from the people living in Obafemi Owode Lg and  Ogun state people as a whole.

" Your visits is the first of it kind and it will remain a reference point in the history of the Police Force headquarters, Ogun state". CP Bankole assured the populace in the State.

In the entourage we have,  the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Fatai Ogundele, Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Kayode Dipeolu, Special Adviser on Security and Intergovernmental Affairs, Hon. Gbenga Sofidiya, Supervisor for Works and Housing, Hon. Bidemi Sodeke, Special Adviser on Rural roads and Infrastructure, Hon. Noah Aliu, Special Assistant on Protocols, Hon. Idowu Makinde, Directors General service and Administration, Mr. J.A. Oyekan and Prince Segun Soneye amongst others .
