The endorsement of the Abeokuta North, House of Assembly Aspirant, Engr Shokunle Owolabi Afeez popularly known as Niyas has continued to gain ground as more leaders in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), including Abeokuta North local government executives, have thrown their weight behind his aspiration.
This followed today, while Hon. Ojelabi in ward 16 was presenting Niyas to the leadership of the Abeokuta North local government executives at the party Secretariat in Abeokuta to seek for there unflinching support towards Niyas aspiration.
In attendance at the party Secretariat included all the wards chairmen and the local government executives in Abeokuta North.
The chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government Alhaja Faidat Sarumi while addressing members of the party, said if party decision is Niyas, it okay by her because he has the definition of Omoluabi in him.
Alhaja Faidat who equally said all aspirants belongs to her as the chairman said that Niyas should not be conceited, self-centered that no one wouldn't be able to talk to if eventually elected.
She therefore warned that all the wards chairmen should not allow any crisis in there wards so that APC will succeed in the coming elections.
On his parts, Engr Shokunle Owolabi Afeez "Niyas" while answering the question by one of the local government executives on his plans to his constituents if elected, he said he will do the wishes of the party and the people he's representing adding that proper representation will be his watchword.
The meeting was ended with the prayer to seek for Niyas protection to be able to achieve his purpose.
