Hon. Jigan Taiwo, a frontline Aspirant under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the House of Assembly seat in Ijebu East State Constituency has rejoiced with Muslims on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan today.
Hon. Jigan in his goodwill message to the Muslim said the Ramadan season offered the faithful a unique opportunity to draw closer to the Almighty Allah and deepen the relationship with him in total submission to his will.
He urged all the Muslim faithful to use the period to pray for the progress of the country and for peace to reign in all the trouble spots.
The Assembly hopeful therefore urged all his party faithful and supporters to reflect the lessons and virtues of sacrifice, forgiveness, piety, self-denial and genuine love towards one another during this holy month of Ramadan.
