EASTER CELEBRATION: IFO LG CHAIRMAN, DELANO, CONGRATULATES CHRISTIANS

The Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Kikelomo Aridunnu Delano has congratulated all Christians in the Council Area and Nigeria as a whole on the 2022 Easter Celebration. She described Easter as a special celebration that serves as a reminder of the selfless love and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. She urged Christians to use the period to pray to God and seek for forgiveness especially during this trying time in our dear country. The Council boss however, encouraged Nigerians to be hopeful believing that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

The Chairman also urged residents, particularly Christians to remain calm, exhibit love and practice selflessness as these are what Easter is all about; She thereafter enjoined Christian faithfuls to celebrate modestly and shun any act that can further jeopardize the relative peace in the Council Area.

Hon. Delano further used the occasion to appeal to the people of the Local Government Area to cooperate with the government by paying their taxes, levies, dues, licenses and rates as at when due so as to assist the Council Authority in meeting up with their electoral promises made during the electioneering campaign.
