Obafemi Owode LG considers over N3b as 2022 budget proposals

The Executive Chairman Obafemi Owode Local Government Ambassador Adesina Ogunsola on Thursday has proposed a budget of N3,153,152, 980 : 00 (Three billion, One hundred and fifty three million, one hundred and fifty two thousand, Nine hundred and eighty thousand naira) as 2022 budget proposal.

Speaking during the budget deliberations with the  political office holders and career officers of the council area , the Chairman, who was represented by his Vice,  Hon. Titus Olusesi Babatunde said the 2022 budget tagged, "Budget of Transformation"

The council boss  charged both the political office holders and Career lofficers to ensure that they make all efforts to make the budget a reality.

He  then acknowledged the efforts of all career staff  at ensuring that the two tiers of the local government performed it's constitutional roles.

Ambassador Ogunsola also charged them to continue to cooperate with the Present administration in Obafemi owode local government 

The Chairman implored the Departmental Heads to carefully look into the Proposed Budget and make necessary inputs.

In his own submission ,the , Director, Planning, Research and Statistics,Mr Lekan Ogunjobi gave a summary of both Capital and Revenue Expenditure as N3,153,152,980.00

He further requested the Directors of all departments in the Local Government to make their inputs known as regards the proposed figures in the budget either to increase or to reduce it.
