SPORTS, AN ANTIDOTE FOR HEALTHY LIVING- IFO LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOSS

SPORTS has been described as an antidote for healthy living according to the Executive Chairman Ifo Local Government, Hon. Kikelomo DELANO while appreciating the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo ABIODUN MFR, for this year Mind Games Festival held at the Local Government Secretariat, on Thursday, February 21st, 2022.

The Local Government boss, Chief Mrs. Kikelomo DELANO said Mind Games will allow youths to have analytical mind thereby making them to be intellectually sound declaring open this year Mind Games  with a leadership example by engaging her Vice, Hon. Oladapo Adebesin in Ayo Olopon play which she won.

The Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Dr Oluwadare Kehinde ably represented by the Director of Sports in the Ministry, Mrs Iyabode Rotimi said the aim of the competition is to discover grassroot talents and nurture them into both national and global space.She thanked the Local Government Chairman for the warm reception accorded them.

The Mind Games competition are in the categories of Chess, Draught and Ayo Olopon. 

Winners in the male and female categories of the games were presented with cash prizes at the end of the activities.
