AYORINDE PRESENTS 2022 BUDGET

The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta North local  Government , Prince Adebayo Ayorinde has presented the year 2022 Appropriation bill of #3,878,748, 566.00 to the legislative council for Approval.

The budget christened ''Budget of Transformation" was presented to the leader of the legislative council, Hon. Sanni Sikiru at the legislative sitting held recently at the legislative chamber of the council,Akomoje.

A breakdown of the budget reveals that #409, 645, 500.00 was earmarked for capital projects while #3,469,103,066.00 budgeted for recurrent which include salaries, allowances,overhead cost and consolidated fund charges.

In his speech at the occasion, Prince Ayorinde noted that the budget would be funded by the internally generated revenue of the Local Government.

The Local government boss further reiterates his  administration's commitment to make life meaningful for all and sundry, promising that his government would  sincerely discharge her responsibilities by concentrating efforts and attending to the increased demand of the populace in the area of providing Quality Education, Good Health, Provision of Rural and Infrastructural Development, Provision of Adequate Security and  Sports Development.

The chairman also expressed his whole hearted gratitude to the entire good people of Abeokuta North Local government for the wonderful co- operation extended to his administration since inception. He equally thanked the legislative and executive council as well as the career staff for their unflinching support to his administration.

In his acceptance speech, the leader of the legislative council Hon. Sanni Sikiru assured the chairman of thorough deliberation and accelerated passage of the 2022 Appropriation bill into law for early execution.
