The Executive Chairman Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi who was ably represented by the Vice Chairman of the Local Government, Surveyor Iretiolu Lanre Sotayo preached unity and peace to the members of staff during the XMAS CAROL service of the LG held in ASLG Secretariat on Wednesday December 15, 2021.The Council boss implored all to continue to work together as a team and allow the bond of humanity to prevail. Hon. Majekodunmi stressed the importance of giving during the festive season and charged everyone to be his or her brother's keepper regardless of tribe, culture and religion urged the members of staff to observe the Covid-19 precautionary measures and be safe.
He advised the members of staff in the Local Government to show a heart of gratitude to God for witnessing another Christmas. Added that the members of staff should be responsible while celebrating the Christmas as it is the period of peace.
In his Christmas message, the Coordinator of the Xmas Carol, Mr. Kusimo Gabriel, stated that the birth of Jesus Christ signifies love and selflessness. He charged everyone to show love to fellow humans.
