The Executive Chairman, Obafemi-Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina and founder of Ajibola Progressives Foundation (APF), Hon. Ajibola Sulaimon Mujaid has rejoiced with Lion (Comrade) Babajide Mathew Shodiya on his investiture as the 2nd President Abeokuta Harmony Lions Club
Ambassador Ogunsola, narrated that Lion Shodiya's emergence as the president of Abeokuta Harmony Lions Club was as the result of his humanity and contributions towards the development of the State and Nigeria respectively.
He noted that, the International Association of Lions Clubs District 404BI, Abeokuta Harmony Lions Club consists of a group with likeminds and passion for the under privileged, who came together to share their vision of how to help them in the society. Defined that the watchword of the Club is love, friendship and togetherness, that the club today is an international, the largest International charity and philanthropic organisation in Nigeria.
Hon. Ajibola, the founder, Ajibola Progressives Foundation expressed in connection with the submission of Ambassador Ogunsola that, he has known Lion SHODIYA as a responsible kind-hearted Comrade who is passion about environments and wants people to have quality lives. He advised him to continue in the gesture for there is a reward in everything man does on earth.
The Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Sola Otesile, Chairman Ogun State Printing Corporation, encouraged the members and all good hearted people to support the president morally and financially, stressing that the Club needs resources to be able to execute the number of projects that were on ground for the Lions year.
