The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Aspirant, Prince John Adegbola has commiserated with the victims of the recent petrol explosion caused by a Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) laden tanker at early hour of today around Oju Irin in Lafenwa area of Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The tanker was said to engulfed in fire due to the uncooperative attitude of people around the axis who were scooping fuel and other unwholesome act which sparked off the fire.
The explosion was said to have left some persons dead while others suffered various degrees of burns and injuries.
Reacting to the inferno, Adegbola described it as unfortunate and prayed God to grant the survivors speedy recovery and the dead eternal rest.
The gubernatorial aspirant lauded the various emergency agencies for the prompt response, he equally appealed to them to put preventive measures in place to avert future occurrence.
