ASLG CHAIRMAN PAYS COURTESY CALLS ON OBAS IN LGA

The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Govt, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi JP who is also the Asiwaju Akinrogun of Egbaland on Tuesday ,2nd of November paid courtesy calls on the Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, HRM ,Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo Okukenu IV and the Olubara of Ibara ,Oba Dr Jacob Olufemi Omolade Lafa II.

The Executive Chairman said he has great respect for traditional rulers because their roles as community Leaders connect with the people at all levels, Hon. Majekodunmi, a Certified and Chartered Accountant who had worked with the royal fathers while he was still serving in the Ogun State Local Govt Service appreciated their contributions and fatherly roles during his stint as an accountant with the traditional council.

He, however, intimated the Obas on the development agenda of the present administration and solicited for their support and blessings.

Responding, the Alake of Egbaland ,Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo Okukenu IV and the Olubara of Ibara, Oba Dr Jacob Olufemi Omolade Lafa II,  expressed their support for the administration of Hon Majekodunmi.They testified to his integrity, steadfastness , 

honesty and humility which they experienced first hand while he worked with them.

The Vice Chairman of the Local Govt, Hon Surveyor Iretiolu Olanrewaju Sotayo who gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the Executive Chairman and members of the entourage thanked the royal fathers for their support and blessings. He promised that the present administration will do all within its power to bring the dividends of democracy to all and sundry. 

Present at the occasion were members of the Legislative Council, Head of the Local Govt Administration, Directors and Heads of Department as well as political stalwarts in the Local Govt area
