INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY: Majekodunmi Advocates for peaceful cohesion in ASLG

The Council Chairman Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, Hon.Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi has encouraged the dwellers of the Local Government Area to in time concede and yield to harmoniously live with one another while looking not to the political or religious differences.

Speaking in his office, Abeokuta South Local Government Secretariat; Hon. Majekodunmi enjoined the dwellers in the communities of the LGA, that the residents should ensure the need to sustain peaceful atmosphere in the Local Government, State and Nigeria respectively. He called on people of the LGA to be patriotic in dealings and not to Advocate for war because of the flimsy and selfish interests.

"If we truly longing for growth, there must be peace as peaceful coexistence is key to our survival as a Nation", he said.

He, therefore urged the dwellers in the LGA to be consistent in their good dispositions and to work tirelessly to sustain and improve on the existing peace enjoy in the LGA. Saying the progress of the LGA is the only path to justify the confidence reposed in his Administration.
