OBAS IN OOLG COUNCIL DRUM SUPPORTS FOR THE PROPOSED HOUSING ESTATE IN THE LG AREA

The Obas in Obafemi-Owode Local Government on Monday August 16, 2021 at the Inauguration of the newly elected Councillors in the Local Government Secretariat have evoked strong feeling to give supports to the proposed low cost Housing Estate bid by the Executive Chairman of OOLG, Hon. Ogunsola Adesina in the race to lessen the cost of living and to promote the economic effect of the Council Area.

You would recall that the Information Officer, Mrs. Awoyemi Baruwa made it known to online loops through Press Release credited to the Council Boss, posited that the Chairman is aspiring to build 50 Unit Housing Estate for the residents in the LG Area.

Thereafter, the Obas in the Council Area have drummed their steadfast supports to the proposed Housing Estate ought to build by the Administration of "Hon. Ogunsola Adesina", the Executive Chairman OOLG.

Speaking on behalf of Obas, the Chairman Council of Obas in the Local Government, His Royal Highness, Oba Kayode Taoreed Owolabi, Olu Obafemi Land commended OOLG Chairman, Hon. Ogunsola, for him to embark on such amenities at this trying period in the Council which will capable to enhance the socio-economic development of the council area, therefore conjured the dwellers to supports the gestures.

Oba Owolabi specifically praised Executive Chairman for his administration efforts to give the Local Government Area a befitting status. He said that the proposed estate, apart from adding to the beauty of the Local Government, would also go a long way in providing decent and affordable houses for residents of the town.

Earlier, the Council Chairman, Hon. Ogunsola expressed delight on the occasion, thanked the dignitaries who graced the ample event, stated that since he had assumed duties; works  have begun. 

Further said that the face-lift of the LG Secretariat has commenced and in the meantime, the grader of the Local Government which had been moribund for sometime is presently under repairs and if eventually repaired; its functions will serve the entire communities in the Local Government Area and it will in agreement to grade the impaired road network in the 12 Wards of OOLG.
