The Ogun State Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) State Chairman, Comrade Boyede Ijaduoye and the ZLP Chairmanship Candidate in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Comrade Gbenga Matteu Lipede have congratulated the Executive Chairman Obafemi-Owode Local Government, Hon. Ogunsola Adesina of his victory at the polls in the concluded Local Government Election in Ogun State.
The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission declared Ogunsola, candidate of All Progressives Congress as the winner of OOLG Chairmanship Seat in the state Election on Sunday July 25, 2021.
The State Party Chairman in his statement, Comrade Ijaduoye commended the electoral process in the State affirmed that the Council Elections in the State were free and fair.
Comrade Lipede, while congratulating Ogunsola, also said the victory was a result of his political diligence, hard work and resilience.
The ZLP State Chairman, Comrade Ijaduoye also praised the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR and OGSIEC for their fairness and relative neutrality in the conduct of the elections.
“It is a resounding endorsement by OOLG people of your performances as the two terms Secretary to the Local Government that have made you to emerge amongst other candidates in the Council Poll last Saturday; but it will be of my pleasure for you to continue in that good gestures and ensure dividends of democracy to the electorates who have taken their precious time to vote you in,” the statement said.
