COUNCIL POLLS: IKENNE LG APC FLAGS OFF CAMPAIGN FOR CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE ON TUESDAY

Ahead of preparation and in readiness for the forthcoming local government polls, the All Progressives Congress, Ikenne Local Government, will on Tuesday, 13th July, 2021, flags off the Ward to Ward campaign for its Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Olusegun OGUNLEYE, with a visit to Ogere Remo.
The move was released to www.caveattimesnews.ng by the publicity and New Media Committee of All Progressives Congress Party (APC) Ikenne today that the campaign train, according to the itinerary released by the party, will pay a courtesy visit to the Ologere of Ogere, His Royal Highness, Oba Oladele OGUNBADE, in his palace by 9am, followed by a tour of Wards 6 and 7 in the town.
The campaign train will same day proceed to Iperu, and pay a courtesy visit to the Alaperu of Iperu, His Royal Highness, Oba Adeleke IDOWU-BASIBO, in his palace by 2pm, followed by a campaign tour of wards 3, 4 and 5 of the town.

The team will observe a day break on Wednesday, 14th July, 2021, as it resumes its  tour on Thursday, 15th July, 2021, with a visit to Irolu Remo Ward 10. While in Irolu, the team will pay a courtesy visit to the Onirolu of Irolu, His Royal Highness, Oba Sikiru ADEYIGA in his palace by 9am.

Also on Thursday, the team will be visiting wards 8 and 9, Ilisan Remo, as well as wards 1 and 2, Ikenne Remo. While at Ilisan and Ikenne, courtesy visits will be paid to His Royal Highness, Oba Michael SONUGA, the Olofin of Ilisan; His Royal Highness, Oba Adeyinka ONAKADE, the Alakenne of Ikenne; and His Royal Highness, Oba Odunayo SOLARIN, the Onidotun of Idotun, Ikenne.

The Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Olusegun OGUNLEYE, will be joined by his running mate, Hon. Bolanle FAKOYA, and all the councillorship candidates, during the visit.

All members of the party are enjoined to be actively involved in the two-day campaign tour of the local government area.
