Shomide reassures adequate water supply in ASLG Hospital at Oke-Ilewo, pleads Patients for ordeals the Health workers put them through

The Chairman Transition Committee, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Ayodeji Michael Shomide has beseeched the patient s who were on bed labour or thereabout; whom the Health workers at Primary Health Care Oke-Ilewo Hospital had asked to fetch some gallons of water before attending to them not to be fierce, for the wrong has been mended.

The Council boss affirmed that the incident was due to the abrupt fault of the generator attached to the Hospital to power the bolehole; confirmed to the populace in Ogun State and the affected Patients that, the generator is presently in good condition and the water system is now running.
On Wednesday May 12, 2021, he evidently addressed it that it was as a result of the hospital generator which developed fault some days ago; reassured all the Patients and the intending ones that the facility has been fixed up, thereafter implored them to continue in the patronage.
Dr. Adekunle Solarin succinctly expressed further on the note that, "Oke - ilewo Health Centre has a functional borehole powered by National grid with a standby generator.

"Over the last weekend, the generator developed faults, coupled with black out from Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC), which resulted to the shortage of water system in the facility on Monday", Dr. Solarin stated.
