Fast rising Online Television, TV24News has bagged an award of excellence from the prestigious Synergy Meritorious Award held Sunday at Spicy hall, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Speaking with Newsmen after the award ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the TV channel, Rafiu Alarape described the award as surprising, adding that it came just within the first year of its full operation.
In his words, "It is a great pleasure to received a meritorious award at synergy Award night, it is indeed a calling to do more by being objective with our reportage .
"Having receives the News Media of the year award, our message to other awardees is to be a good Ambassador in any sector they find themselves.
"Lastly, we appreciate the organiser and vowed to support the youth by being objective and transparent in the discharge of our duties"
Other award recipients includes, the Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor on Youths and Sports, Comrade Olamide Lawal, Abeokuta South Local Government Aspirant, Alh. Farouk Akintunde and others
