SHOMIDE PROMOTES SELF-MADE PRODUCTS AT FAIR

The Chairman Transition Committee Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Ayodeji Michael  Shomide has contributed to the growths of self-made products and services in Abeokuta South Local Government.

The statement was made at the 10th Gateway International Trade Fair when lots of products were shocased for sale at the Trade Fair ground.

"The Fair would provide an enviable opportunity for multinationals, Small Scale and Medium enterprise to showcase their products and services, to teeming customers across the globe and within the Nation". He declared.

Hon. Shomide affirmed that the council Area, ASLG is famous for its Adire (tie and dye) textile products and Aso Oke materials which are colorful and eye-catching.

Maintained that the global acceptance of Adire is unrivaled, as more  customers are being attracted from all over the World.

He, however, assured that techniques are being deployed in the production processes to give the fabric a more attractive look and an elastic mind for both the customers and consumers who come to patronise the self-made products and services in the Council Area. Further declared that fifty Adire Merchants had been empowered in a bid to transform  Small Scale industries into modern being.
