The Onigbein of Igbein, Egbaland, Oba Festus Makinde has congratulated the newly appointed Nigeria High Commissioner to United Kingdom, Alhaji Sarafa Tunji Ishola on his appointment.
The monarch in his congratulatory letter he personally signed and made available to Newsmen in Abeokuta, the state capital, said Ishola deserve the appointment, saying he worked hard for it.
Oba Makinde who described Ishola as a worthy role model and illustrious son of Egbaland, said Ishola has achieved what many men dreamed of.
He said the Nigerian High Commissioner to UK has never stopped amazing him and his people, stressing that he hope many of his kinsmen will be inspired by Ishola achievements.
The monarch therefore wished him success in the national assignment.
The letter reads: " Please accept my congratulations on your appointment as the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. You deserved this appointment and you have made us proud of you as an illustrious son of Egbaland. Not many people have a story of their own to tell. You have a story of your own and there are so many others to tell it over and over again.
Life doesn't just throw success at you, you have really worked hard for it, you are worthy of this appointment. You are a role model for everyone around you. You never failed to amaze us with your extra ordinary success and achievements. I hope this will inspire others to do their best always.
