TANKER EXPLOSION: OGUN RESTRICTS TRAFFIC ALONG IBARA-KUTO ROAD

As a result of an unfortunate incident orchestrated by a tanker explosion around Guarantee Trust Bank early this morning which led to destruction of many vehicles and some people with different degrees of injury, the Ogun State Ministry of Transportation hereby announces immediate restriction of human and vehicular movement along IBB Boulevard, Kuto, Abeokuta 

Ogun Sttae government sympathises with the victims and advise citizens to stay clear from the area to avoid secondary or complimentary incidents pending the time that experts, already contacted, shall evacuate remnants of fuel in the exploded tanker.

In the mean time, motorist coming from Sagamu axis should take Kuto under bridge towards GRA and link Ibara and vice-versa, while the ones from Ibara axis should take Sapon-Iyana-Mortuary to link Oke-Mosan. 

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to bear with the inconveniences while the area is saved and secured for public use in the next couple of hours.
