P.H.C DEPARTMENT AT IJEBU EAST LG ATTEMPTS DATA REGISTRATION

Primary Healthcare Department at Ijebu East Local Government has organised a day mandatory training for the Health Officers at the Local Government.

This surfaced to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of data within the Health Sector across the Nation and following the directive for the implementation of the medical tools for records in the Healthcare facilities starting from 1st February, 2021 on the Newly Integrated National Health Management Information System(NHMIS) Registers with the initiative from Federal Government.

  

Speaking earlier to the participants, the Chairman Transition Committee, Ijebu East Local Government,Hon. Calistu Falujo expressed his profound gratitude to the Federal Government and Ogun State Government under the leadership of His Excellency,Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR for the good intentions and initiatives to move the Health Sector forward by ensuring accuracy and on the spot references to prompt data register for both in rural and urban sectors. He equally enjoin all the Nurses and other Health Extension Workers on the need to be more proactive in health service delivery because "Health is Wealth" he said.

  

According to the Ag. Primary Health Coordinator Pharmacist Olanrewaju Adetu said the data is to enable the Federal Government and other Sectors to have first hand information/data on how to cater for the well-being and improve the Health Sectors across the Nation. 

He urged all Health participants present on the need to embrace and encourage others on the Importance of the new version 2019 register for further implementation and further provision of better health facilities.

The program which was held at Ijebu Mushin Health Center and well attended by all Medical Health Officials under Ijebu East Local Government Ogbere.
