The Ogun State Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructures, Engr. Akeem Babatunde Adesina has thanked the residents of Ogun State for their tranquil natures and supports exercised towards achieving smooth construction of roadworks in the State.
"2020 is gone and i'm excited we made it into the new year 2021, i would like to thank you for being a special part of the last year; you made it worthwhile". Engr. Adesina stated.
Engr. Adesina also made it to understand in a chat with the caveattimes that , despite the bout in year 2020, the Ministry of Works and Infrastructures were able to put into effect multiple roadworks in the Senatorial Districts in Ogun State.
Engr. Adesina maintained that the ongoing construction between Sagamu interchange-Abeokuta end had reached advanced stage, just as the right lane had been tarred with wearing and bidder course and now opened to traffic.
According to him, he said stonebase is being laid from the Owode axis of the road stretch, with 200 metres of the target length done; confirmed that by January 2021, it will be paved with asphalt after which engineers on site will return to work from the Ilaro axis.
He assured the dwellers in Ogun State that the service lane before the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) State Headquarters in Kuto is complete and ready open to access.
Ogun State Special Adviser proceeded in his statement that, the ongoing reconstruction projects covering Imowo Eleran, Ibadan and Mobalufor/Ejirin roads in Ijebu-Ode is already at the asphalt paving stage.
He, at the same time, appreciated the Administration of Governor in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, for the focus in ensuring smooth roadworks in the three Senatorial Districts in Ogun State while urging the citizenry in the state to keep on supporting the Governor for the slow and steady win the race.
