OGUN GOVERNOR, ABIODUN GIVES AWAY N10M, TWO MOTORCYCLES, PATROL VAN TO NIGERIAN LEGION IN OGUN

 The Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, has fufilled his promise to pay back to the heroes who had relentlessly fought for the survival of the country Nigeria, he however gave away the sum of 10million naira, two Motorcycles and thereafter pledged to deliver a patrol Van before the week ends to the Legion in Ogun State Chapter.

This was declared at the Emblem Appeal Launch Week of the Armed Forces and Remembrance Day observed at the Executive Chamber of the Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan Abeokuta.
The Ogun State Governor, Prince Abiodun called upon the well meaning people in Ogun State, Corporate bodies and organisations to come to their aide by supporting the noble cause of the injured and the families of the dead officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces by donating generously towards their concerns.

"I would like to appeal to individuals , corporate bodies and organisations to rise up to the challenge of giving support towards their desires for their injured scars as well as the families of the dead by donating generously towards the care and welfare of our fighting Men", he said.

In his response, the Chairman Nigeria Legion, Ogun State Chapter, Comrade Oloyede Taofeek appreciated the State Government for her continued support to the Legion in the State, proffered that the Legion, in its strength has been able to carry out its assignments in the State successfully as a result of the Government's generous donations of Ogun State.
