OGUN DEP MINORITY LEADER LAUDS ABIODUN ON ROAD PROJECTS, ASSURES CONSTITUENTS OF BETTER DEAL

A member representing Ado-Odo/Ota II State Constituency, who is also the Deputy Minority Leader in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Musefiu Lamidi has commended the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his fair distribution of infrastructural projects, especially in the award of road contracts, road rehabilitation and construction across the three Senatorial Districts.

This is just as the lawmaker also lauded the State Government's  developmental intervention in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area through the approval of the  age-long Ikoga-Ado-Odo road, which is a Federal road, Igbesa- Ejila and Lusada-Alapoti roads in his constituency; which he noted would bring about improved and seamless human and vehicular movements for the private sector operators having industries in the areas to have an easy link to the neighbouring State.

Musefiu showered the encomium on Governor Abiodun during an interview in Abeokuta,  describing the governor's decision in ensuring the construction and giving approval of new roads as a testament of his watchword of fairness and equity upon assumption of office.

Describing good and motorable road as important factor to the sustenance of the growing economic index of the State through the Ota industrial area, the Assemblyman expressed optimism that the the Public-Private Partnership initiative for the construction arrangements of the Lusada road would yield massive socio-economic turnaround upon mobilization of contractors to site and subsequent completion of the road for the benefit of the residents and investors.

Lamidi further called for the timely completion of administrative and documentation processes with the appropriate and concerned government agencies and stakeholders preparatory to the release of the Model College built by the last administration in his constituency to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for its proposed educational college, with a view to ensuring effective utilization of the facility for the benefit of the people.

He equally appealed for the timely intervention of Governor Abiodun in sorting out grey areas with the Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone to enable the commencement of the Ejila-Awori road being an alternative route to Lagos which was approved by the State Government about nine months ago.

Assuring his constituents of quality representation in the State House of Assembly, especially on his resolve to continually facilitate more people-oriented legislations and development initiatives to his constituents, the lawmaker assured that the existing symbiotic relationship between the executive and legislative arms would bring about more positive transformation to all sectors of the State economy.
