Breaking: Former Ogun NLC Chairman emerges NULGE President

Immediate past Ogun State Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Ambali Akeem Olatunji has again been declared winner as the new elect Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE) in Nigeria.

The election took place at De-Haven Oba Akinjobi way GRA, Ikeja beside Arch. Bishop vinning Memorial Aglican church, Lagos State.
The newly National President, Comrade Ambali was elected at the 7th quadrennial delegates conference of the Union in Lagos on Wednesday January 6, 2021. 

The current Chairman, Ogun State Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Comrade Ayuba Olatunji applauded the peaceful and orderly conduct of the exercise advised others who aspired to lead but were not given the opportunity to work in tandem with the newly elected President and as well work for the progress of the Union.

"Those who could not make it should note that NULGE is a Union meant for workers, so allow NULGE peaceful environment to operate if you do not lead today, you may have a chance tomorrow; continue to do your best it's not supposed to be a do or die affairs", Ogun NULGE Chairman stated.
In his acceptance speech, the President-elect Comrade Ambali who scored 207 out of 311 votes thanked the electorates and the loved ones for the mandates given to him as the National President of the NULGE; affirmed that he would deliver one by one all his appoints agenda.
