ASLG HOLGA, OWOLABI HARPS ON THE USE OF FACEMASK IN LG TO LIMIT COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The Head of Local Government Administration Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, Mr. Owolabi Babatunde Adeola has  stressed the need on the usage of facemask for all members of staff, pleaded with all the political functionaries and the visitors to guide against the acts that would stir-up the pandemic, as the country was yet to recover from the first wave.

He emphasised that Second wave is real, hence all members of staff, political functionaries and those who want to do one thing or the other within  the Local Government Secretariat must ensure to wear their facemask reasonably to curtail the effect of spread of the deadly disease called coronavirus at the Local Government, State and the Country Nigeria respectively.

Mr. Owolabi reiterated that any erring visitor or member would be prevented from the entry gate of the Local Government for he had instructed the security personnel to disallowed whoever declines to put on his/her facemask.

He, however, expressed that regular and punctual attendance of office for the members of staff in the LG is equally mandatory while observing the precautionary measures of the novel virus termed Covid-19 pandemic.
