Szoboszlai’s new club confirmed as player snubs Arsenal

Dominik Szobozlai has completed his move to RB Leipzig.

The Hungarian star joins the Bundesliga side from sister club RB Salzburg for an initial £18million.

 

Salzburg will also be due 20% of any future transfer, for a player who they bought in January 2018,

 

During his spell in Austria, Szoboszlai has netted 25 goals in 79 appearances for the club.

 

Szoboszlai was being monitored by Arsenal ahead of a potential January transfer.

 

Mikel Arteta and Arsenal sporting director Edu had earmarked Szoboszlai as a possible option, as they sought to add more creativity and goalscoring prowess from the centre of the park.

 

AC Milan and Real Madrid were also keeping track of his progress.
