The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre has expressed satisfaction to the commitment of roads construction of His Exellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration in Ogun state in ensuring that the abadoned roads in the State are motorable for the residents to ply.
The Council Boss who was ably represented at the event by the Supervisor for Women and and Social Affairs in the LGA, Hon. Risikat Akintunde said this on a special inspection of the ongoing Owode/Ofada road.
In the same vein, Oba Kolawole Aremu Sowemimo Gbadewolu 1, the Olu of Owode Egba equally commended the magnanimity of His Excellency, Prince Abiodun MFR for the road project he realized to them.
The Kabiesi, Olu Owode Egba further said the road has been neglected for the past sixteen years unattended to, he therefore thanked the government, has the road would boost the development and economic value of the town.
Nevertheless, Oba Sowemimo appreciated the Governor for also coming to there aid in restoring the electrification, mentioned that the town has been in darkness due to some faults in the transformer and just recently His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun has paid for it repairs and believed in two weeks time, the light would be totally restored.
"Let me say here for the purpose of record that,we shall reciprocate by supporting governor Abiodun accordingly as we all known that one good term deserves another". kabiyesi stated.
